Edinburgh Airport wins 'Best Airport Operator - Car Rental' at BVRLA Annual Dinner
Edinburgh Airport is celebrating once again after being named ‘Best Airport Operator - Car Rental‘ at the BVRLA Annual Dinner in London earlier this month.
This new award, created to recognise the importance of the vehicle rental industry’s partnership with airport operators, was presented to Kevin Murphy, Surface Access Manager at Edinburgh.
The BVRLA’s Airport Working Group works closely with major transport hubs to improve the experience for vehicle rental customers. During 2014 it commissioned an independent audit of the ten busiest airports in the UK to assess some key drivers of customer satisfaction.
Edinburgh Airport triumphed because of its commitment to its customers, ensuring they have the best experience, deliver outstanding customer service and work with car rental business partners to ensure improved efficiency.
Areas where Edinburgh scored highest were journey time from the terminal building to the car rental centre, availability of courtesy bus services and signage and wayfinding.
