Viva España! Norwegian launches new Edinburgh service to Malaga
Scottish passengers now have even more choice of how they can travel to sunny Spain with the launch of a new service to Malaga with Norwegian.
Launching last night (31 March), the new summer-only service will operate twice per week on Saturdays and Tuesdays, leaving Edinburgh at 19:20 and arriving into Malaga at 23:35.
Passengers will be able to take full advantage of Norwegian’s award-winning service, including free wi-fi on board their B737-800 aircrafts. With popular resorts Marbella, Fuengirola and Torremolinos within an hour’s drive from Malaga, the time to book your Spanish getaway is now.
Fare prices start from just £39.90 one-way and the new Spanish route joins the airlines’ existing popular services to Copenhagen and Oslo.
Gordon Dewar, Chief Executive at Edinburgh Airport, said: “It may not seem like it but summer is on its way and we’re delighted to launch this new service to Malaga, the gateway to the Costa del Sol.
“The airline already offers passengers services to both Copenhagen and Oslo and Spain is a great addition to their growing network from Edinburgh.
“It’s getting to the point in the year where Scots are starting to plan their summer holidays and this new service from Norwegian offers the ideal opportunity for some Spanish sun.”
