Aer Lingus Regional, operated by Stobart Air launched its new route from Edinburgh to Shannon.

Edinburgh passengers flying to Shannon will also be able to take advantage of Aer Lingus’s transatlantic services to New York and Boston.

Shannon Airport offers U.S. bound passengers’ immigration and customs preclearance services, meaning that no border checks upon arrival in the United States, and avoiding potentially long queues.

To mark St Patrick’s Day and to celebrate this new route Edinburgh Airport will turn the control tower green on the evenings of 16th and 17th of March.
