Citylink Launches New Route Between Edinburgh Airport and Stirling
On October 1st, Scottish Citylink expanded the 909 service to provide improved connections for airline passengers connecting to Stirling, Grangemouth, and Bo’ness.
The Citylink 909 service will provide nine journeys from Stirling to the airport, and 10 from the airport to Stirling on weekdays. The route is a great option for tourists looking to travel directly from Edinburgh Airport to Stirling Castle, The Wallace Monument, or one of Stirling’s many other famous attractions. It also offers easy transport for students, commuters, and business travellers journeying from the airport to Stirling.
CEO of Edinburgh Airport, Gordon Dewar, said: ‘I am delighted at the launch of this route. We’ve worked hard in the past few years to develop our public transport links across Scotland. The Stirling area has been underserved – it’s fantastic that the 909 service will now provide this much needed direct link.’
Passengers can purchase a return journey for as little as £9. Commuters may wish to opt for the unlimited weekly travel ticket for £40.
