Esenboğa Airport starts to host Bremen flights of Germania
Operated by TAV Airports, Ankara Esenboğa Airport started hosting German airline company Germania’s flights from Bremen. Germania will be making direct reciprocal flights from Esenboğa Airport to Bremen once a week.
Ankara Esenboğa Airport, which is operated by TAV Airports, welcomed the first flight of German airline company Germania arriving from Bremen. The flight is made by Airbus 319 type aircraft which landed to Esenboğa Airport with 70 passengers at 2:50 am on Tuesday, June 14th, 2016.
TAV Esenboğa General Manager Nuray Demirer stated: “Esenboğa Airport is connected to 36 domestic destinations as well as 21 international destinations at 12 countries with direct flights. We are glad to welcome Bremen flights of Germania. TAV Esenboğa will continue to provide direct flight comfort to the passengers by adding new destinations to our flight network."
Germania will be launching direct flights from Esenboğa Airport to Bremen every Tuesday throughout the summer season.
In 2015, Esenboğa Airport provided service to 12.3 million passengers with an increase of 12 percent compared to 2014 and hosted approximately 88,000 flights.
