Groningen Airport Eelde: more than 30% growth in the first half year

The half-yearly figures from Groningen Airport Eelde show that the number of passengers has increased considerably. The number of passengers has grown by more than 30% compared with the same period last year. It was previously known that a growth of 25% was realized in the first quarter. Growth continued to grow in the second quarter.  

The growth is partly due to the scheduled service to Copenhagen, which started in September 2016. The flights to London and Gdansk also develop positively. In addition, the number of passengers departing from Groningen Airport Eelde to sun-sea-beach destinations has increased.
