SKY Express and Sunweb to launch Groningen-Heraklion charter in S26.

The Greek airline SKY Express will operate a series of charter flights between Groningen Airport Eelde and Heraklion in Summer 2025. These flights will be operated during the summer holiday period in July and August, with weekly departures on Wednesdays.
SKY Express will operate these flights on behalf of tour operator Sunweb, who is returning to Groningen Airport Eelde (GRQ) after having operated occassional charter flights in 2023 and 2024. This series will be the first full-charter series for Sunweb at Groningen Airport Eelde.
Heraklion is not a new destination that is offered from Groningen Airport Eelde. Tour operator Corendon operates two flights per week to the Greek holiday island from April through October.
