Sabiha Gökçen welcomes Air One and Atlasjet
Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen International Airport welcomes 2 new airlines to 3 destinations!

Italian carrier Air One now flies between Venice and Sabiha Gökçen 4 times weekly. The crew and the passengers of the first flight from venice are welcomed with water salute and cake & drinks (please see photos attached). The passengers also joined the celebration along with the Commercial Aviation Team of Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen and Alitalia Istanbul Team leaded by the new country manager Luigia Carla Catuogno. Both partners expressed their happiness to connect historical Istanbul to romantic Venice.
During the same hours, Turkish local carrier Atlasjet commenced flights for the first time from Sabiha Gökçen to the popular summer spots of Turkey, Bodrum and Dalaman. Atlasjet will operate to Bodrum and Dalaman every day with variable frequencies. The carrier will also start Mykonos and Medina flights very soon. The passengers of the first flights enjoyed snacks and Turkish delight at the gate area.
