Lodz Airport begins cooperation with the TUI Travel Office.
For the first time, the tour operator charters two planes that will carry passengers for holidays to Bulgaria and Turkey throughout the season. TUI has already started selling the offer from Łódź to the summer of 2020.
Until now, TUI has been sending passengers on holiday from Lodz, but they have occupied seats in planes chartered by other tour operators. This season, TUI decided to go to Łódź and for the first time the office will operate with its two planes. Today, the first plane to Antalya departed. The second - to Burgas - will depart on Friday. It will be a machine Bulgaria Air, the national carrier of Bulgaria, which will fly to Lodz for the first time. According to tradition, he will be greeted with a water salvo (the closest Friday at 4.40).
The TUI office is planning a longer cooperation with Łódź. Already now on the tour operator's website you can buy the first minute offer for holidays in 2020 to Turkey and Bulgaria. Interestingly, next year the offer to Antalya will be doubled and you will be able to fly there twice a week on Wednesday and Saturday, thanks to which the boatmen will be able to buy 10 day trips. Prices start from PLN 900.
In addition to TUI, the Lodz airport cooperates with the largest tourism organizers - Rainbow, Neckermann, Grecos Holiday, Coral Travel, Exim Tours and Itaka.
"We are very happy that we have been trusted by another tour operator, very dynamically developing on the Polish market. I am even more pleased that at the beginning of this season we are announcing a doubling of operations to Turkey in the next season, and the tour operator has already launched the sale of trips for the next summer. Such an early decision of TUI means that our passenger may be calm about the possibility of traveling on holiday from Lodz. And for the airport it is another confirmation that Lodz is a strong market with its potential, and therefore all our observations and information provided to carriers and tour operators are confirmed " - says Artur Fraj, Commercial Director of the Airport in Łódź.
"In 2017, there were no summer charters in Łódź. We have intensively used this time to build relationships with carriers as well as with tour operators. It was not easy, but the effort paid off. In 2018, we were trusted by the Rainbow and Coral Travel travel agencies, which started flights from us to Bulgaria and Turkey, and this season the tour operators doubled their offer to Antalya and Burgas. We can see that in this segment of the movement holiday vacation organizers see the power of the Lodz market and the needs of the inhabitants of Łódź and the region, " says Anna Midera, president of the Łódź Airport.
Apart from Turkey and Bulgaria, the Lodz airport also has a Greek offer of the Zakynthos island, which sells well. In addition to the travel package in travel agencies, you can buy the same tickets for free seats in airplanes for all charter destinations. During holidays, the Lodz airport also offers regular connections between Ryanair and Athens. The price of tickets in the high season starts from PLN 97
