Lodz Airport traffic figures autumn 2020
Weekly statistics prepared by PANSA shows air traffic on Polish airports.
Even though autumn is upon us Lodz Airport statistics look optimistic. According to the weekly report on traffic in Polish airspace prepared by PANSA (Polish Air Navigation Services Agency) number of flights at Lodz Airport is only slightly down compared to 2019. Presented data from 12 October 2020 shows a decrease of 17%.
The report compares the same day of the week e.g. Monday in a similar period last year, and not on a date-to-date basis. The presented data comes from the Network Manager systems and contains information about GAT IFR traffic without General Aviation traffic.
When we look at statistics from September the situation is similar and shows only a dozen percentage decrease at Lodz Airport air traffic with comparison to 2019. There was one week when the air traffic at our airport was 18% higher than a year ago: 38th week of 2020 from 14 to 20 September. Figures below, shows traffic at Polish airports during that week (number of operations):
