COVID-19 new requirements and restrictions for passengers crossing the Polish border

Today, March 30, 2021, come into force new rules when crossing Poland’s border. The changes are valid until April 9, 2021.

- passengers coming from Schengen Area can make a Covid-19 test not earlier than 48 hours before the moment of crossing the Polish border. If not, they are obligated to undergo a 10-day  quarantine. Quarantine obligation period is reduced if negative SARS-CoV-2 test result has been obtained by the person crossing the border, carried out not later than 48 hours after the moment of crossing the border.

- passengers from Non-Shengen Area can not show tests performed in the country of departure. These passengers are obligated to undergo to 10-day quarantine. Quarantine obligation period is reduced if negative SARS-CoV-2 test result has been obtained by the person crossing the border, carried out not later than 48 hours after the moment of crossing the border

In these two cases above, PCR tests and antigen tests are acceptable.

The quarantine obligation does not apply persons, who ended home isolation or hospitalization due the SARS-CoV-2 infection, not later than 6 months before the day of crossing the Polish border and persons vaccinated against the COVID-19 (have to possess a COVID-19 vaccine certificate)
