Lodz as the only place from Poland awarded on the National Geographic’s “Best Of The World 2022” list
Lodz was included in the worldwide plebiscite "Best of the World 2022" announced by the prestigious international magazine National Geographic Traveler as the only place from Poland. “The city of textile workers” was awarded in the category “Sustainability”.
- The presence of Lodz on the “Best of the World 2022” list is a great distinction and a great promotion for this one of the most interesting Polish cities. I am impressed by how it has recently changed, how it takes care of its post-industrial identity, revitalizes former factories turning them into centers of life and meetings of residents, and at the same time becomes a leader in sustainable development.
