Santa Claus visited Lodz Airport again

December, 6th Santa landed at Lodz Airport for the fifth time, this time on a board of SkyUp Airlines aircraft.
Santa brought over 200 gifts for kids from orphanages and the other organizations supporting children.
Kids with Christmas gnomes, reindeer, squirrel, and ladybird were waiting for the Santa at the apron.

At 11 o’clock they saw the incredible plane in black-orange-white color. It is the only one aircraft that belongs to SkyUp Airlines in the colors of the football team - FC Shakhtar Donieck.

„This year I came to Lodz directly from Kyiv, because the conference of Santa Clauses and Jack’s Frosts from all over the world took place in the capital of Ukraine. We were wondering where good kids are living and where we should go with gifts. After the conference, every one of us decided to go to a different country. Of course, my first choice was Poland and Lodz. This year it was easy to get here from Kyiv because of the direct connection by SkyUp Airlines. It took me less than two hours and I have the full “belly” of gifts for children” – said Santa.

After the greetings, kids and Santa went to the arrivals hall and saw plenty of gifts on the luggage carousel.

When Santa handed out all the gifts at the arrival hall, next he went to the main hall, where children from kindergartens were waiting for him. There were a lot of laughs, photos, and even high fives. Santa had a lot of sweets for them.

Then the Santa Claus with „elves” left the Lodz Airport and went to other organizations and institutions with the gifts for the kids.

Again the moto parade was organized to drive through the city of Lodz. Of course the leading car was Lodz Airport's „Follow me”. Behind it, drove three Porsche cars (with reindeer antlers on a roof), and a big TRUCK vehicle with all the gifts for children.

This year Santa Claus visited the traditional Christmas Market at the main street of Lodz- Piotrkowska.

 “This is the 5th edition of the charity event of the "Santa Claus Landing" organized by our airport. Since 2017, Santa has had many occasions to come to Lodz on different planes and give a lot of happiness to children. Thanks to the sponsors it was possible to give hundreds of gifts to children from orphanages, organizations supporting children in need. This action means a lot for us and is very emotional every year "- said" Anna Midera (CEO & President of Lodz Airport Central Poland).
