Lodz Airport: Polish Tourism Promotion Forum
April, 6th in Lodz took place the 10th Forum of Tourism Promotion
The event was held in the modern, new building of Lodz's ZOO - Orientarium
More than 200 delegates debated the current situation in tourism in Poland and abroad.
Lodz was chosen as a host city of the Forum cause of has been recognized as the most dynamically developing city in terms of tourism in Poland.
An increasing number of visitors and a lot of new tourist attractions were noticed in the city of Lodz. One of the most interesting place for tourists will certainly be the Orientarium, which is expected to be open in the first half of 2022.
The program of the 10th Forum of Tourism Promotion was divided into three sessions.
- International tourism promotion,
- Promotional organizations in business and tourist infrastructure,
- Various faces of tourist promotion
Among the speakers was i.a:
Piotr Henicz - V-ce President of Polish Chamber of Tourism, V-ce President of ITAKA
Tomasz Kloskowski - President of the Board of GdaĆsk Airport
Jan Herget - Executive Officer of CzechTourism
Gheorghe Marian Cristescu – CEO of Polish Hotel Holding
Mariela Modeva - Bulgarian Deputy Minister of Tourism
Mariana Oleskiv - Director of the Ukrainian Tourism Development Agency.
The Forum attended also the representatives of local and governmental tourism institutions, airlines, airports, Polish and international tourist organizations.
