Lodz Airport: 600th BIRTHDAY OF ŁODŹ CITY!
The year 2023 is a special anniversary - the 600th birthday of the city of Łódź! For this occasion, the city has prepared a countless number of attractions, events, and parties.
The climax will happen in the summer. The main birthday bash will take place on the last weekend of July (28th-30th July 2023), and a bunch of additional accompanying events will be going on throughout the whole year. It's a perfect opportunity to visit Łódź, get to know its history, culture, and traditions, and see how much it has changed and developed in recent years. The Łódź Summer Festival is happening on July 28th-30th! The biggest, totally free festival in Poland will take place in Łódź! World-renowned musicians like Tom Odell and Franz Ferdinand will be rocking it out in the last weekend of July! The invited artists will be playing for three days on four stages: Main, Manufaktura, Monopolis, and Łódzka!
From the beginning of June until the end of August, there will be special free guided walks around Łódź every weekend! The Łódź Tourist Organization has prepared three sightseeing routes in two languages: Polish and English. Each tour will last about 2 hours. Participation requires prior online registration! Starting from June, every weekend in Łódź, a double-decker tourist bus will be cruising around! Departures will take place every Saturday and Sunday from Piotrkowska 28. The journey will be accompanied by a professional guide. The rides on the double-decker will be free of charge, but there's a maximum seating limit of 50 people READ MORE
