Lodz Airport - 18 years of Ryanair at the Lodz Airport
Ryanair has reached the age of majority at Lodz Airport
On October 30, 2005, the first Ryanair Boeing 737 landed at Lodz Airport.
On this occasion, Ryanair launched a special promotion: 18% discounts on flights to/from Łódź.
Michał Kaczmarzyk, President of Buzz Ryanair Group said “Łódź is a dynamically developing region, which makes it an important location for Ryanair. In the summer season, our routes from Łódź to Alicante, Milan, and London were very popular. Seeing the growing demand for southern destinations and the British Isles, in the winter season we are increasing the number of connections from Łódź to Alicante from 2 to 3, and we are adding new destinations - Malaga and East Midlands. We are glad that we have been cooperating with the Łódź Airport for 18 years. On this occasion, we have prepared a special offer of 18 percent. discounts on Ryanair flights from Łódź. Thanks to this, passengers will be able to enjoy autumn travel at the lowest prices.”
Anna Midera Ph.D. President of Lodz Airport said “We have an extraordinary celebration today. We are celebrating 18 years of cooperation with the Ryanair airline. On October 30, 2005, the first Ryanair aircraft to London departed from our airport. "Eighteen" is a magical, symbolic moment of entering adulthood. You usually look forward to it because then everything seems possible. A year ago, we jointly launched three new destinations: to Alicante, Brussels, and Milan. Yesterday (29 Oct.) we started flights to Malaga and today (30 Oct) we are delighted to see the return of flights to the East Midlands and daily flights to London Stansted. We can say that all childhood diseases are behind us and our cooperation is going very well. We wish Ryanair Airlines good strategic decisions and fantastic development conditions in Poland, especially at the Łódź airport.”
