Lodz Airport is wishing you Happy New Year!
The year 2025 is approaching. May it be happy, peaceful, and safe for everyone, filled with fantastic challenges and wonderful journeys.
For Łódź Airport, it will be a special year: we are entering our #jubilee year and will be celebrating our 100th anniversary. We are the #oldest airport established by Polish authorities after regaining independence, operating continuously in the same location for 100 years. On September 13, 1925, Bishop Wincenty Tymieniecki, in the presence of authorities, consecrated the new airport and the newly completed aircraft hangar in Lublinek. It has experienced various fortunes throughout the century, and we will be sharing the airport's history this year on our social media.
We are preparing various attractions for the residents of Łódź and the region, with the culmination of the 100th-anniversary celebrations in mid-September, when we hope to celebrate this noble jubilee together with the inhabitants of Łódź and the region. We are very excited about what awaits us in this special year!
