Increase in air traffic in October
Up 1.4 per cent compared to last year.
A total of 4,938,499 flights were made over Avinor's airports in October. This is an increase of 1.4 per cent compared to last year.
Inland travel increased by 0.6 per cent and international travel increased by 2.6 per cent.
- In terms of developments in domestic traffic, the explanation is that airlines reduced the number of flights in October compared to 2018. It was offered 117,000 fewer seats domestically than the same month last year. The airlines thus carried more passengers with fewer flights in October, says Avinor communications manager Gurli Høeg Ulverud.
