Alhabtat
Traditional folk markets held ahead of Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha , locally called “Alhabtat”- is the ideal place to experience the very authentic traditional pure Omani life. You will witness Omani buyers and sellers wearing the official dress code of dishdasha (white cotton gown), mosar (worn on the head), and khanjar (dagger). The majority of the goods and products sold are Omani produced all from fruits, vegetables to handcrafted products, livestock and sheep.
