Visit Skåne for World Class Tennis this Summer

Every year Skåne hosts a set of “one time”-events such as the Men’s World Championship in Handball and the World Scout Jamboree. Skåne also hosts a wide range of yearly events such as the Falsterbo Horse Show and Swedish Open!

Swedish Open is a WTA and ATP qualified tennis tournament held in the beautiful yet pulsing town of Båstad along the west coast of Sweden. Swedish Open is a tournament gathering world class tennis players from all over the world, including the no. 4 ranked Robin Söderling (Sweden), during a two weeks time in the peak of the Swedish summer. It is though not only famous tennis players who’ll travel wide and far for this tournament, many other Swedish world known athletes and celebrities come home to the otherwise somewhat sleepy town of Båstad to enjoy great tennis, excellent restaurants and the many bars and clubs in the now hot and vibrant town of Båstad!
