Passenger in Skåne rather fly from Malmö Airport

In connection to the evaluation of changes in the incentive program at Malmö Airport the marketing research company Markör Marknad och Kommunikation conducted a postal survey in Skåne among 2000 inhabitants.

One of the questions asked from which airport passengers rather travel. Malmö Airport was the choice of 55 percent of the asked.  Another question asked was from which airport they had been traveling during the last 12 months. 20 percent had only travelled from MMX, 28 percent from both MMX and CPH and 50 percent from only CPH. The following question asked what airport they would chose if the destination was available from both. Of the ones who had only used MMX in the last year 84 percent would chose Malmö again, of the ones travelling from both airports 66 percent would chose Malmö Airport and interesting is that 38 percent of the travellers that had only used CPH during the last year would chose Malmö Airport if the wanted destination was available!
