Today Ryanair starts operating two new direct routes from Kraków to Sweden. Consequently Ryanair is back at Malmö Airport, greater Copenhagen's second largest airport, and the Irish low cost airline is also adding a route to Göteborg Landvetter Airport. Passengers will be able to choose from three weekly departures from both Malmö and Landvetter to the second largest Polish city, claimed to be one of the most beautiful cities in Europe.

Ryanair is growing its operations in Kraków and opens 14 new routes from the Polish city to a number of destinations in Europe. Two of the destinations are Swedish; Malmö Airport, greater Copenhagens second largest airport, and Göteborg Landvetter Airport on the Swedish west coast.

-We are very pleased to welcome Ryanair back to Malmö Airport. This new route proofs that our trend with increasingly growing passenger numbers continues after the record year of 2016. Malmö Airport is fast and efficient and we can offer our international passengers a smooth experience which is appreciated and saves time for travellers, says Peter Weinhandl, Airport Director at Malmö Airport.

-We are pleased to offer the West Swedes an exciting experience in Krakow which is only a two hour flight away from Göteborg Landvetter. The new route also means it will be a more convenient travel for those who want to visit family and friends in Poland, says Charlotte Ljunggren, Airport Director at Göteborg Landvetter Airport.

Krakow is said to be among the most beautiful cities in the world and is considered to be Poland's cultural capital. Krakow offer many historical sights, a hundred churches and fine art collections along with an exciting selection of food and affordable shopping.

There will be three weekly departures from each airport.
