Flybe and franchise partner Loganair launch new direct route from Newquay Cornwall Airport to Glasgow

Newquay Cornwall to Scotland's biggest city in under two hours
On 5th April 2012 LOGANAIR and franchise partner Flybe launched a direct service to Glasgow.
With a flight time of just one hour and forty minutes, the new route is perfect for Cornish leisure travellers looking to take in the sights, shops and sounds of Glasgow, the UK’s biggest retail centre outside of London’s West End.
The short flight time will also appeal to travellers commuting to the city from the Cornish county, as rail and road journeys can often take between eight and 10 hours.
Al Titterington, Managing Director at Newquay Cornwall Airport, comments: “The new Glasgow route demonstrates our continued commitment to the Cornish economy, feeding a steady footfall of visitors into the region for local businesses to capitalise on. This popular route is returning thanks to our new partner Loganair, a franchise partner of Flybe.
