Trade fair season at NUE back in QI with great performance
For the first time since the pandemic, Nuremberg's trade fair season was scheduled back to Q1. Many airlines profit from this timing in order to improve the year's start.
The trade fair season during W22 boosted airline performance at NUE airport. While during the pandemic, trade fairs were scheduled in summer, this year they have been taking place in winter again, ideal timing for a normally lower season.
For instance, compared to the W22 average, the trade fair weeks in this year performed with an up to 7,6% higher seat load factor even while airlines are operating with higher weekly frequencies as well (non-leisure flights only).
