Eurowings opens base at NUE airport
Eurowings has officially opened their base at NUE airport, including three new routes in S24.
Last Friday, the first day of the Whitsun vacations in southern Germany, Eurowings officially opened its base in NUE, thereby expanding its presence at the airport.
For summer 2024, the airline is offering a total of 10 leisure and city destinations, including new routes to Rome (2 weekly), Nice (2 weekly) and Bastia (1 weekly). From winter 24, Eurowings will also offer a new route to HAM 6 times a week. This capacity will also be offered by stationing an A320 at the airport. Eurowings already serves the following routes: Heraklion, Kos, Mallorca, Rhodes, Hurghada, Gran Canaria and Marsa Alam.
The official launch event was attended by numerous stakeholders from the region who acknowledged the airline's investment and support in improving the region's connectivity.
