New destination in Turkey Izmir reachable from PAD next summer
With the arrival of Izmir, a second Turkish destination will enrich the flight schedule at Paderborn-Lippstadt Airport starting in June next year. The airline Corendon Airlines then offers four flights to Antalya and two flights to the coastal city of Izmir.
Starting on June 16, 2020, the Turkish airline Corendon Airlines will be departing from Paderborn-Lippstadt Airport in the direction of Turkish Agais to Izmir on favorable flight times on Tuesdays and Fridays. The return flight takes place on Thursdays and Mondays in the evening. The airline flies with Boeing 737 aircraft, which accommodate 189 passengers.
"Turkey is one of the most popular travel destinations in our home port, with a recent strong upward trend. Therefore, we are all the more pleased to be able to offer a second destination in the country next to Antalya in the future with Izmir ". Marc Cezanne, Managing Director of Flughafen Paderborn-Lippstadt GmbH.
The coastal metropolis with more than four million inhabitants is the third largest city of Turkey and impresses above all by its mix of antique sights, modern city and bathing beaches.
