About The Airport
Perth Airport welcomed 16.9 million passengers to Perth, Western Australia in the year ending Dec 2024. It shares a close partnership with Tourism WA, promoting Western Australia as an attractive holiday destination for overseas visitors, with a strong focus on working with our airline partners to increase passengers travelling to/from Western Australia.
Perth Airport is open 24/7 and shares the same time zone as China and much of South-East Asia. Perth Airport is well-located as the gateway to Western Australia, with shorter distances providing greater economic and operational benefits for airlines accessing Australia from regions such as West Asia-Africa, South-Asian Sub-continent, South-east Asia, North Asia and Europe. Perth Airport is the only Australian airport offering non-stop services from Perth to London and mainland Europe.
A $5 billion investment program will bring all flight services into the Airport Central precinct, with a new parallel runway, new terminals facilities, two multi-storey carparks, an upgrade of Terminal 2, and an airport hotel by 2031. This will transform Perth Airport, adding capacity and delivering the long-awaited “one airport” for all travellers.
