Perth prepares to welcome aviation leaders from Asia and beyond

Routes Asia 2025 – a leading aviation event for international airlines, airports and national tourism organisations will be held in Perth from the 25 – 27th March 2025

With Singapore Airlines appointed as the Official Airline Partner and delegate registrations now open for this key event, Routes Asia 2025 is expected to attract more than 1,000 delegates to Perth to plan and progress new air services.

Routes Asia is attended by key decision-makers from over 170 airlines and 300 airports who will arrive in Perth for the three-day forum. It is an incredible opportunity to showcase Perth as Australia’s Western Gateway and demonstrate the strength of the market to our airline partners.

The following can be attributed to Deputy Premier of Western Australia Hon Rita Saffioti MLA

"Routes Asia is one of the premier planning events for the aviation sector and to have it hosted here in Perth shows how important our State is in the global aviation industry, solidifying our status as the Western Gateway to Australia.

"Direct flights and aviation links are a key part of our tourism strategy, and we're really proud to have secured or relaunched 18 direct flights with international destinations since borders reopened last year.

"Routes Asia will provide a fantastic opportunity to continue our engagement with key players in the aviation industry and keep advocating for more services into Western Australia.

"The event will also position our State as a world-class host of business events and give leaders from the aviation industry a chance to experience our beautiful city first-hand.”

The following can be attributed to Perth Airport’s Chief Commercial and Aviation Officer Kate Holsgrove

“Routes Asia gives us the unique opportunity to promote Perth directly to international airlines and raise the profile of our incredible destination and all that Perth and Western Australia has to offer.

“It brings international airlines to our front door and provides us a unique opportunity to shine the spotlight on the transformation of Australia’s Western Hub.

“Perth Airport has commenced a $5billion investment program that will deliver a new parallel runway, new terminals facilities, two multi-storey carparks with associated roadworks, an upgrade of Terminal 2, and the airport’s first hotel.

“The program of works will completely change the face of Perth Airport over the next decade and will create a world class airport experience for travellers while delivering the capacity and efficiency our airline partners need to grow their connections into Western Australia.

“So, this is the perfect time to promote the opportunities available for airlines who are considering growing their services or commencing new flights to Perth.

“Perth Airport, Tourism WA and the State Government work closely together to attract new international airlines to Perth which creates significant value for Western Australia’s tourism, business, international education and WA’s export sectors.”
