Allegiant Announces New Nonstop Route to Knoxville From Pittsburgh

PITTSBURGH. Feb. 12, 2019 — Allegiant (NASDAQ: ALGT) today announces an expansion of service from Pittsburgh to Knoxville, Tennessee and the Great Smoky Mountains via McGhee Tyson Airport (TYS) beginning May 17, 2019. To celebrate, the company is offering fares on the new route as low as $49 each way.

“We’re excited to announce yet another expansion in Pittsburgh,” said Drew Wells, Allegiant vice president of planning and revenue. “We’re sure travelers will be thrilled to take advantage of these convenient, ultra-low-cost, nonstop flights to enjoy the Great Smoky Mountains and all that this beautiful region has to offer.”

The new seasonal route will operate twice-weekly.
