About The Airport

San Antonio International Airport (SAT) strives to be an economic asset to continuing the growth of the Greater San Antonio Region. San Antonio, Texas is one of the fastest growing metro areas in the United States. 2023 was SAT's busiest year with nearly 10.7 million passengers passing through the airport's two terminals.

In response to a growing region, SAT is expanding the airport terminals. A Ground Load Facility (GLF) will be added to existing Terminal A by 2025 and a brand-new, up to 17 gate third terminal is set to come online in 2028.

With 14 air carriers and nonstop service to 45 destinations throughout the U.S., Mexico, and Germany, SAT looks forward to continue to expand in lockstep surrounding region. 2024 is set to be another record breaking year for the airport with new nonstop service to numerous domestic destinations, new cities in Mexico, and the airport's first-ever service to Europe when Condor Airlines launches flights from SAT to Frankfurt.
