Sheremetyevo International Airport was awarded as the Best Russian Airport

Sheremetyevo International Airport has won the most prestigious award in the field of tourism “The Choice of Condé Nast Traveller’s Readers” in the nomination “The Best Russian airport”. Awarding ceremony took place on November 15.

For several months, Condé Nast Traveller readers voted on the site and in questionnaires of magazine to in ten categories to identify the best foreign and domestic hotel, airline, airport, favorite city and the most hospitable country.

We pay particular attention to ensuring a high level of customer service and constantly expand the range of services. In Sheremetyevo airport we create all the conditions to make the trip pleasant and passing of departure procedures fast and easy ", - said Vladimir Khizhnyak, the Director Aviation Marketing & Commerce of Sheremetyevo, at the award ceremony.

Online-, mobile-, Skype-registration and Drop-off racks simplify the departure procedures and quick baggage handling significantly, comfortable waiting areas, new business lounges, shops and restaurants make waiting for the flight imperceptible.

Sheremetyevo Airport provides personal assistance to passengers with disabilities - we organized special parking spaces, multipurpose information desks equipped with a screen switching and an intercommunication system, health centers operate around the clock. In the "clean zone" of Terminal E there is a free rest room "Sirius" for passengers with disabilities. Equipped according to international standards for this category of air travelers "Sirius" is a unique project in Russia, comfort and the level of the service is highly appreciated by passengers and their accompanying persons.

Also Sheremetyevo Airport takes special care to young passengers, trying to make their presence at the airport as comfortable as possible. In all airport terminals there are free mother&baby rooms.
