Tbilisi-Rostov flights launched by new airline “Pobeda”

Tbilisi International Airport, operated by TAV Airports, welcomed the first direct flight from Rostov, Russia performed by Pobeda Airlines on November 1, 2016. TAV Georgia hosted the welcoming event at Tbilisi Airport, attended by the executives of TAV Georgia, Pobeda Airlines and the representatives of National Tourism Administration, Civil Aviation Agency, United Airports Georgia and Sakaeronavigatsia.
The flights will be performed three times a week, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays with Boeing B737-800 type aircraft. Alongside with Aeroflot, S7 and Ural Airlines, Pobeda Airlines is the fourth Russian air company operating at Tbilisi International Airport.
TAV Georgia provided services to more than 2 million passengers at Batumi and Tbilisi airports in 2015 with a 16 percent increase when compared to the previous year.
