Launching a new connection to the new airport will make LOT offer a total of 20 flights a week to Kiev. At the same time it will strengthen the position of Chopin Airport as a foreign hub for passengers from Ukraine interested in flights on European and intercontinental routes.

At the beginning, the flights on the new route will be operated six times a week by Embraer airplanes 195 with 112 seats on board (departure with the exception of Saturdays and arrival from Kiev except Sundays). In the second half of the next year, the number of flights will increase to seven per week.

The departures from Warsaw are planned at 10:40 PM, while the return flights will take off from Kiev at 6:00. AM The airline will ensure that the flight schedule allows convenient interchange at Chopin Airport.

Zhuliany Airport is located within the city limits and previously was used primarily by low cost airlines. Developing LOT network of connections with Ukraine is part of the carrier's strategy aimed at strengthening its position in the Central and Eastern European region and strengthening the role of Warsaw as the main hub for passengers from the region.
