Doubling the number of flights on the fifth anniversary of Qatar Airways in Warsaw

Qatar Airways initially launched connections to Warsaw with Airbus A320 aircraft, which were later replaced by wide-body A330 airbuses, which increased the number of available seats by over 95 percent. There are 236 economy class seats and 24 business class seats on board. The second connection, which will start on December 14 this year will be operated by the A320 aircraft with 132 seats.

Qatar Airways is the national carrier of Qatar and a member of the oneworld alliance (just like British Airways or Finnair operating from Warsaw). It is a multi-award winning airline in terms of passenger service quality. Only in 2017, the carrier was honored with the title of the Best Airline and received awards in the Best Business Class in the World category, the Best Lounge for the Business Class and the Best Air Service in the Middle East by the international organization of air transport Skytrax.

While increasing the number of flights by Qatar Airways, it is worth mentioning the systematic increase of interest in Warsaw Chopin Airport by foreign carriers offering long-distance connections. In addition to the Qatari airlines, Warsaw also serves a second aviation giant from the Persian Gulf - Emirates, which offer flights aboard the largest passenger aircraft currently operating from Warsaw, Boeing 777. In addition, regular flights to Warsaw are offered by Air China, and in the summer season by Air Canada Rouge. Also, charter carriers have permanently stayed in Warsaw, operating wide-body planes, also Boeing 787 Dreamliner.

Warsaw Chopin Airport is breaking records of the number of passengers handled, achieving double-digit increases compared to the same period of the previous year.
