8 new regular connections from Chopin Airport
8 new connections, including a direct flight to Singapore - this is the main novelty of the most recent schedule, which will be in force during the summer season at Warsaw Chopin Airport.
The schedule, which is in force since March 25th, contains 122 regular routes. The new season is for Warsaw Chopin Airport a continuation of development of the transfer network, as well as increasing the number of connections with South-East Asia, and through the hub in Singapore, also with Australia.
In March-July 2018, there will be 8 new regular routes - to and from Bordeaux (Wizz Air), as well as Nuremberg, Kaunas, Skopje, Hanover, Zaporizhia, Singapore and Dubrovnik. The last seven routes will be served by LOT and provide convenient transfers on all of its network available from Chopin Airport.
Currently flights to Dubrovnik are seasonal, but - if this direction becomes popular - the connection has a chance to become a permanent element of the offer.
A significant event that awaits us in the spring of 2018 is the introduction in May of a permanent LOT connection to Singapore, which will expand the travel offer from Chopin Airport to Southeast Asia.

What other changes will take place in the summer of 2018? Due to changes in the development strategy of the network of connections of several carriers still in the winter season 2017/18, several routes will dissapear in the summer season 2018.
Wizz Air resigned from flights to Bristol, Glasgow, Aberdeen and Paris Beauvais. The airport talks about these directions with other carriers.
Norwegian airlines close connections with Madrid, while Eurowings closes with Dusseldorf. However, the routes from Warsaw to Madrid and Dusseldorf will remain, they are also operated by LOT.
There will also be 77 charter destinations, including 9 new ones: Djerba, Limnos, Gazipasa, Konstanca, Monastyr, Ohryda, Pisa, Reus and Seville.
- Our airport is consistently strengthening its position as a leader in the region. In the January-February period, the number of passengers served increased by 15%, and the share of transit passengers approached 30%. This confirms the need to build a large transfer airport in this part of Europe - adds Hubert Wojciechowski.
