"Polish Monuments of History" - the latest exhibition of the Niepodlegla.gov.pl was presented at the Chopin Airport
"The most precious heritage. Discover Polish Monuments of History ” is an exhibition that can already be seen at the Chopin Airport. "Here, visitors from different parts of the world can come into contact with the Polish cultural heritage for the first time," said the organizers.
Kalwaria Zebrzydowska, the salt mine in Bochnia, the Augustów Canal or the Castle of the Silesian Piasts in Brzeg - these are just some of the 105 objects with the status of a Historical Monument, whose photos can already be seen at the exhibition "The Most Valuable Heritage. Discover Polish Monuments of History” organized by the Niepodlegla.gov.pl. During a vernissage, among others, was the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Culture and National Heritage, Piotr Gliński, who emphasized that the exhibition in the space of Chopin Airport is the second installment of the visual story about the treasures of Polish culture.
As the organizers point out, the exhibition has three main goals. The first is the promotion of the richness and diversity of Polish cultural heritage through the prism of 105 objects with the status of a Monument of History. Second, a story about different faces of Polish history and identity. And third, the promotion of our country in terms of tourism and sightseeing.
The exhibition can be seen from October 8th, 2019 at Chopin Airport. The exhibition will be divided into two views (about 50 objects each): October 2019 - February 2020 and March - August 2020. Currently, the works are in the SKM queue connector, in the Terminal CDE zone, transit zone and VIP Line zone. The number of points in which the works will be presented will be successively expanded.
The exhibition "The most valuable heritage. Discover our Historical Monuments ”has been under the honorary patronage of Andrzej Duda, President of the Republic of Poland.
