Ghana Airports Hosts 28th ACI Africa

Ghana Airports Company Limited has successfully hosted the 28th Airports Council International (ACI) Annual General Assembly, Regional Conference & Exhibition in Accra from October 12 – 18, 2019.  The theme for the Event was, “Smart airports of the future; are we ready?”

The 7-day event covered activities such as Working Group Meetings, Main Conference, Annual General Assembly, Gala Dinner, Training Sessions and Exhibition.

The Conference brought together 400 high-level participants, including global aviation experts, airport executives and recognized leaders from the public and private sector and was an ideal platform for networking, business meetings, and marketing of products and services.  Ghana Airports Company Limited won the 2nd place as “Best Airport in Safety” of over 20,000 Air Traffic Movements (ATM), in Africa.

Airports Council International is a Not-For-Profit organization representing commercial airports worldwide. ACI advances the collective interests of and acts as the voice of the world’s airports and the communities they serve and promotes professional excellence in Airport Management and Operations.
