Summer time begins at Leeds Bradford Airport

British Summer Time officially begins on Sunday 30 March when the clocks go forward one hour; Leeds Bradford Airport is gearing up for the summer schedule, with 7 new routes available for Yorkshire sun seekers.

Leeds Bradford will welcome new airline SAS this Monday (31st March) with a twice weekly service to Copenhagen, offering a direct link to Denmark’s capital and onward connectivity across Scandinavia and Eastern Europe.

Jet2.com, Leeds Bradford’s largest based airline will introduce five new destinations this summer to compliment their existing schedule. From 3rd April, Yorkshire travellers can fly directly into Hungarian capital, Budapest with a twice-weekly service. As of 4th April, passengers can fly to Fuerteventura, Canary Islands with Jet2.com, and their operations to Kos in Greece will commence 6th May.

On 14th May Leeds Bradford will welcome a new destination, Verona in Italy, operated by Jet2.com. The airline will also introduce services to Reus on 17th June.

Ryanair will introduce a three times weekly service to Girona Barcelona, serving the Costa Brava region in Spain from 1st April 2014.
