Christmas at LBIA
Christmas came early for little Jasmine Marquis and Lucy Tallent from Leeds as they prepared to take off on the trip of a lifetime to Santa's grotto in Lapland from Leeds Bradford Airport today, (Thursday 9th December, 2010).
Transun Passengers flying off on a three day break to the snowy Winter Wonderland had an extra special treat when they were greeted at check in by elves, pixies, good witches and the main man himself.
And it was all in aid of a good cause. Money raised during the festivities at the airport will help make Christmas extra special for the children at Martin House Hospice in Wetherby this year.
Tony Hallwood of LBA said "We are delighted that we could give Transun passengers a magical start to their Arctic adventure and thanks to their generosity it will help make the festivities at Martin House Hospice even more memorable."
The next three day break will depart from LBA to Lapland on 17th December,2010. Each trip includes a range of fun filled activities including a reindeer sleigh ride, husky safari, snow games and a very special personal visit to Santa's home. For further information visit www.transun.co.uk. Prices start at £599.
