August recorded the highest passenger numbers ever, at Cyprus Airports!

In August 2024, more than 1.6 million passengers traveled from Cyprus airports, with a significant 5.7% increase compared to the corresponding period in 2023, while the overall average load factor across flights was 89%.

Specifically, 1.1 million passengers traveled through Larnaka Airport, with an average load factor of 88% while 0.5 million passengers travelled from Pafos Airport, with an average load factor of 92%.

The top markets were the United Kingdom, Greece, Israel, Poland, and Germany. Popular destinations included Tel Aviv, Athens, Vienna, Warsaw, and Manchester, among others.

In line with its strategy on route development and airline support, Hermes Airports collaborates with 54 airlines operating flights to and from Larnaka and Pafos airports, offering 113 routes to 38 countries.
