VOLOTEA - The new Turin-Naples route starts up
Last month on Monday 17 September, the new flight took off from Turin Naples operated by Volotea, the low cost airline that connects medium and small cities in
Europe. The new route is available 6 days a week (every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday), for a total offer of more than 21,900 seats. The results achieved at the airport are very encouraging from the low cost that ended summer 2018 transporting 75,000 passengers locally, with a increase of + 16% compared to last summer and with a load factor of 97%.
During the summer months, the Piedmontese travelers were able to take off with Volotea from Turin to 9 destinations total, 6 Italian - Cagliari, Olbia, Lampedusa, Naples (new 2018), Pantelleria and Palermo - and 3 abroad - Corfu and Skiathos in Greece and Palma de Mallorca in Spain.
"We are happy to have inaugurated the new route from Turin to Naples, which is added to the connections annuals for Palermo and Cagliari. Thanks to the new flight to Naples, piedmontese passengers will have an offer flight even richer and will take off on board our aircraft to one of the most beautiful cities welcoming in Italy - commented Valeria Rebasti, Commercial Country Manager Italy & Southeastern Europe of Volotea. "At the same time we hope that the new route will increase the flow of tourists incoming eager to visit Turin, to discover its artistic beauties and, during the winter, of the
famous Piedmont ski resorts ".
