Wizz Air expands its network from Turin with the new Turin-Chisinau route
Caselle Torinese, July 18th 2019 – Wizz Air, the largest low-cost carrier of Central and Eastern Europe announced today the expansion of its network from Turin with a new service to Chisinau, Moldova.
The new route is the fourth low-fare service of Wizz Air, following Warsaw, Bucharest and the recently announced Krakow connection, commencing on 3 August.
The Turin-Chisinau flight will be operated starting from December 21st, twice a week (on Tuesdays and Saturdays) with one of the airline’s brand new Airbus A320 aircraft equipped with 180 seats. Tickets are now available on the company's website wizzair.com or on the carrier's free app with fares starting from a slow as € 24.99 (one-way including all taxes and charges).
As anticipated in recent months, the airline Wizz Air continues to expand its presence at Torino Airport, with a network that today counts four destinations: the flight to Bucharest, whose frequency has been increased to three times a week since the end of May; the new annual service with Krakow, operated every Tuesday and Saturday; the winter flight to Warsaw from January to March 2020 and as of today also the new flight Turin-Chisinau.
The route with Chisinau will serve the community of Moldova, which in Piedmont has about 9 thousands residents, as well as business and leisure traffic.
