Emirates celebrates three million passengers on Newcastle to Dubai route

Emirates has reached the 3 million passenger milestone on its Newcastle to Dubai route.

Serving the North East with daily flights

The airline currently serves Newcastle with a daily flight, offering customers access to more than 130 destinations via its home and hub, Dubai.

Connecting passengers and cargo with the world

Emirates serves Newcastle with a daily Boeing 777 aircraft with a two-class configuration - offering customers 42 lie-flat seats in Business Class and 386 spacious seats in Economy Class

The airline connects the North East of England region with Dubai and onwards to popular destinations including Bangkok, Perth, Sydney and Mauritius.  

Emirates’ flights to Newcastle also help facilitate global trade with the quick, efficient and reliable transport of goods.  Over the past 10 years, the airline has uplifted more than 20,000 tonnes of cargo from the city, with 23% accounting for highly sensitive and highly valuable shipments such as pharmaceuticals. 

Emirates flight EK36 departs Newcastle at 14:15, and arrives into Dubai at 00:30 the following day.  The return flight, EK35 departs Dubai at 07:25 local time, and arrives in Newcastle at 12:05.
