easyJet's new route to Paris takes off from Newcastle Airport
easyJet is celebrating the launch of its new route from Newcastle Airport to Paris.
The first flight departed Newcastle Airport on Sunday 27 October and the new service will operate up to six days a week.
The flight will provide passengers flying from the North East of England with even more choice when looking to visit one of Europe’s most beautiful city break destinations.
With convenient departure times and a total flight duration of just 1 hour 45 minutes, passengers can make the most of their time and quickly immerse themselves in the city – exploring its iconic landmarks, see the world-famous cabaret at the Moulin Rouge or take a trip to Disneyland Paris.
The new route is one of several new additions to easyJet's winter 2024/25 schedule from Newcastle Airport, which also includes a new route Lyon in France and increased frequencies to Amsterdam and Geneva.
Richard Knight, Chief Operating Officer at Newcastle Airport, said: “We are delighted easyJet is continuing to expand its route network from the Airport and it is fantastic to see the start of the airline’s flights to Paris''.
“The French capital has been a popular destination for our passengers for many years. This new connection with easyJet provides more opportunity for passengers to enjoy a city break or Disneyland package holiday, booked seamlessly via easyJet holidays or with their local travel agent.”
Ali Gayward, easyJet’s UK Country Manager, said: “Our fantastic new service from Newcastle to Paris will provide our customers in the North East of England with more travel options than ever before to explore France’s capital and one of Europe’s most popular cities this winter. With package holidays available via easyJet holidays, there’s something for everyone.”
