Jean-Jacques Cloquet, BSCA’s CEO, is incredibly proud of the new service provided by Pegasus Airlines at Charleroi and highlights the benefits that the airline offers his airport: “The arrival of Pegasus Airlines marked a considerable turning point for Charleroi airport. For the first time in its history, BSCA no longer only offered point-to-point destinations, but also connections to more exotic destinations further afield. In a very short space of time, Brussels South Charleroi Airport has managed to adapt to the arrival of Pegasus Airlines on different levels: a new product, new services and a new IT system. This demonstrates our ability to adapt as well as our flexibility. The services offered by Pegasus Airlines have also boosted our range of international destinations. Our passengers can now fly to cities like Doha, Tel Aviv and Dubai from Charleroi, without the slightest bit of stress. Once passengers arrive at the airport, they can check in their luggage for their final destination and are given both boarding cards. Once they arrive at their destination, they just need to collect their luggage there. What’s more, with its range of sun-drenched destinations, Pegasus Airlines offers passengers a taste of paradise at very reasonable prices.”
Sertaç Haybat, Managing Director of Pegasus Airlines, adds: “I’m delighted with the launch of this new line, offering a daily flight from Charleroi to Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen. In the space of one year, we have had the pleasure of transporting 78,000 passengers, with 89% punctuality.
