"The first half of the year is ending on a positive note for Brussels South Charleroi Airport. We are very pleased with these results. They are in line with our forecasts and consolidate our position as the country’s number two airport in terms of passenger traffic. The second half of the year has plenty of exciting news in store as well. Starting in September, Wizz Air will be launching a new route to Georgia (Kutaisi). As of October, Ryanair will start flying to Tel Aviv and Laudamotion will be coming to BSCA, launching a regular route to the capital of Austria, Vienna. Lastly, we are very excited about Air Belgium’s announcement that they will be opening the door to transatlantic destinations from our airport with two new routes: Pointe-à-Pitre (Guadeloupe) and Fort-de-France (Martinique)."
