Brussels South Charleroi processes 426.237 passengers in November An increase of 25%
Brussels South Charleroi Airport recorded 426.237 passengers in November. This is an increase of 84.575 compared to 341.662 passengers in November last year. An increase of 25%!
The expectation for the coming months is a similar growth in passengers. This is in line with the airport’s strategy to focus on having more manageable growth. However, the number of destinations from Brussels South Charleroi Airport will continue to extend to new regions such as new routes to Athens and Volos in Greece as of the end of March 2011.
Several new destinations were opened in November, among them the first flights to Lappeenranta (Finland), Verona (Italy), Larnarca (Cyprus), Gothenburg and Oujda (Morocco).
