Batumi Airport starts to host 8 new destinations of SkyBus Airlines

Batumi International Airport, operated by TAV Georgia, will host charter flights of Kazakh airline SkyBus towards 8 cities of Kazakhstan during summer season 2016. Batumi International Airport welcomed the first flight from Astana launched by SkyBus Airlines on June 2, 2016. Direct flights between Batumi and Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan will be performed regularly on every Thursday.
Flights from Batumi to Astana, Aktobe, Kyzylorda, Shymkent (from June 20) Aktau, Atyrau, Karaganda and Kostanay (from June 10) will be performed via Bombardier CRJ 100 type aircrafts.
TAV Georgia provided services to more than 2 million passengers at Batumi and Tbilisi airports in 2015 with a 16 percent increase when compared to the previous year.
