Aigle Azur opens a new service from Paris to the Algarve
Aigle Azur, a new airline for this winter at Faro Airport, began yesterday its operation with a new regular connection between Paris-Orly and Faro.
The ceremony which took place yesterday evening was offered to passengers on the departure of the first flight.
This new airline connecting Paris to Algarve has been flying to Faro since 2008 on a seasonal basis and now becomes a year-round operation, with twice more seats and 2 weekly flights on Thursdays and Sundays. This new regular service will be operated with an Airbus and represents an additional supply of 7344 seats (departures and arrivals).
According to Faro Airport the continuity of a regular airlink between Paris-Orly and Faro, operated by Aigle Azur in winter and particularly during the Christmas season, will strengthen and intensify the close and lasting relationship with the airline and marks a direct focus on our infrastructure and in the Algarve region.
