7th Birdwatching Festival_ Sagres_ Southern Algarve

The 7th Birdwatching Festival of Sagres & Nature Activities will be held between September 30th and October 5th of 2016.

The Algarve is well-known as a privileged location to view many rare bird species a several prime locations to enjoy this amazing nature activity. There are over different 300 species of birds and 50 very rare.  It’s estimated that there are over 100 million birdwatchers in the world of which, 2.4 M are in the UK.

For a relatively small region the Algarve has a very diverse ecosystem, namely with wet lands, hills, forests, beaches, sea, and arid areas.
